Mr Linfield - totally agree for once! I thought Grant had his best ever game for Shoreham - he knows I take the p... out of him from time to time but thought he was outstanding last night -nice one Grant

What a difference in the teams performance last night. They looked hungry and fought hard for every ball lets just hope that Sams words have started to sink in and this is the start of a good run. I would like to say that Grant and Nick were outstanding.

I think it's a bit soon in the season to paint a picture of gloom. True we are not playing well, consistently, but the performance at Peacehaven showed great spirit and the way the boys demolished Hailsham was a joy to watch.
We still haven't seen a settled side with injuries to Dominic, Justin, Grant and Graham Martin. DJ is still, in my view, recovering from his operation and hopefully we will have a 'new' signing in Kevin Keehan once he gets the ok from the Doc.
We have played a handful of games, no one wins anything in August and the time to judge the side is way down the line- let's keep the faith and be patient!

things dont seem to be going to well with the first team at the moment, perhaps it could be something to do with the attitudes of some players, its a shame they dont work as hard as they do moaning and arguing with each other.team spirit starts within,in good and bad times.get back to basics and play the football you know you can instead of trying to blame each other,it will come with work and attitude....come on lets start tuesday againt redhill

Just a few lines if it gets posted regarding the last three postings. The set up as it is at the moment has gone very stale and it will not get any better with players that Sam has at the present time.I am Shoreham through and through but i predicted this season would be no better than last. Any budget would be better spent on facilities at present ie floodlights and pitch. Just to let you all know that my son Damian broke his leg Saturday playing his first league in Barcelona and will need an operation as it is a bad break.
